Award - The culture-building work of COEMinerals' Future Leaders Committee acknowledged in an excellence award by The Australian and New Zealand Federation of Chemical Engineers (ANZFChE)

The efforts of our Centre’s ​‘Future Leaders Committee’ (FLC) and its members have been recognised with a ​‘highly commended’ placing by The Australian and New Zealand Federation of Chemical Engineers (ANZFChE) / Excellence Awards.

The achievement acknowledges the FLC’s contribution to the Centre’s academic environment, and for enhancing student experiences and academic development.

COEMinerals’ Chief Operations Officer (COO) Annemarie Fawkner championed the FLC’s efforts in an award entry, and is a passionate advocate and driving force behind building the Centre’s highly connected and engaged community.

Comprising of PhD and Early Career Researchers (ECRs), COEMinerals’ FLC fosters collaboration and inclusion between PhD student and ECR Centre members. The FLC also develops and runs activities that support and enhance student well-being, helping members meet, communicate, build friendships and expand their academic networks with academics at our multiple partner universities in Australia.
